SEE IT AGAIN:
MARK MOTHERSBAUGH: MYOPIA
EXTENDED TWO EXTRA WEEKS
By popular demand, MCA Denver is extending Mark Mothersbaugh: Myopia through Sunday, April 26. Whether you are seeing it for the first time or the seventh, you now have two extra weeks to visit the exhibition the New York Times is calling “major” and Telemundo is calling “un poco loco.”
A creative polymath moving seamlessly between art and music, Mothersbaugh explores connections between humans and machines, beginning in his work with DEVO and extending throughout his career in a wide range of mediums.
The exhibition includes prints, drawings, paintings, sculptures, rugs, and video animations; performances; newly produced musical and sculptural installations; and most notably a life-long series of 30,000 postcards, exhibited in its entirety for the first time at MCA Denver.
After Mark Mothersbaugh: Myopia leaves Denver, it begins a six-city tour from Minneapolis to New York. You can say that you saw it first at MCA Denver.
