Join the Nature & Raptor Center of Pueblo, Pueblo County Library District, Pueblo Zoo, Arkansas Valley Audubon Society, Lake Pueblo State Park and Mountain Park Environmental Center for a weekend of all things owl. Highlights of the weekend include live owl demonstrations, owl crafts, an owl hooting competition, owl pellet dissection, and presentations by owl experts.

Where: Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo, Rawlings Library, Pueblo Zoo, Pueblo Mountain Park, Lake Pueblo State Park
Cost: $3 per person 10 and up for the entire festival.
Events at the Pueblo Library are FREE.
Workshops may have additional fees.
Coloring Contest: During the month of March we will be holding an owl coloring contest for children and adults. Child winners in different age categories will win an owl presentation for their classroom, while runners-up get classroom raptor adoptions. Adult first place will be a raptor release, and runner-up will receive a free individual membership for a year. One entry per person, please. Adult entries will each have a $5 entry fee which will benefit the birds of prey at the Raptor Center. Look for the owl coloring sheets on the NRCP website (www.natureandraptor.org).
