“Candela” the new single by Cinco Santos
Latin | Pop | Rock
We are very excited to announce the release of our new single “Candela” taken from our debut album, Duplicidad! After more than 2 years of writing, recording and production, and working with some of the most talented engineers in Los Angeles, the album is ready… we’re very proud of it, and we can’t wait for you to hear it!
Our music is a fusion of revamped sounds from Latin rock, pop, and gypsy guitar, with urban Latin beats to add a very contemporary and rockin’ sound. That fusion of sounds and the collaboration of the whole band in the creative process is what makes the music what it is, and what makes the unique “Cinco Santos” vibe.
This album has been a labor of our inspirations, starting from songs that were born from the very personal experiences of the band members. “Duplicidad” represents the inspirational duality inside of all of us; it’s an inner force and a desire that lives inside of everyone and manifests itself as an alter-ego, emerging when inspiration ignites our passions. Hopefully, the music will spark emotion in you as it has in the band.
We had the good fortune to work with some exceptional engineers in L.A.. Many thanks to the super-talented and Grammy-award winning engineers that worked on our album with us: Shawn Sullivan (The Mars Volta, Reel Big Fish), Barry Rudolph (Lucero, Enrique Iglesias), mastering engineer Brian Lucey (The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys), Ebiut Cervantes (Gwen Stefani, Roxing Kafe), and the whole team at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles.
The album was produced by Shawn Sullivan, Lorenzo Montero, & Cinco Santos.
