Trick-or-Treat in “Scary Space” at the Discovery Center Oct. 31 and Nov. 1

The Space Foundation Discovery Center is offering a special treat on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 — two days of “Scary Space” with safe indoor trick-or-treating. Come dressed in costume and collect treats in our El Pomar Space Gallery while learning the science behind what’s scary in space.

As an extra treat for parents, discounted admission will be offered on both Friday Oct. 31, and Saturday, Nov. 1 – half off admission for children. “Scary Space” is part of the Discovery Center’s monthly Star Days space themes and included in the price of admission.

Friday “Scary Space” activities on Oct. 31, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.:

  • Play Minecraft in ourAGI Space Missions Simulation Laboratory
  • Make your own alien antenna headband and other space crafts
  • Drive our remote Mars rovers
  • Science On a Sphere® presentations in the Northrop Grumman Science Center

Saturday “Scary Space” activities on Nov. 1, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.:

  • Cool Science® interactive science demonstrations
  • Drive our remote Mars rovers
  • Play Minecraft in ourAGI Space Missions Simulation Laboratory
  • Make your own alien antenna headband and other space crafts
  • Science On a Sphere® presentations in the Northrop Grumman Science Center
