The world’s most beloved self-help series, which has sold more than 500 million copies and has been translated into 43 languages, is now available in ebook format to Hispanic readers around the world
NEW YORK, NY – July 22, 2014 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – On August 5, the digital imprint Open Road Español will publish eight new ebooks in the acclaimed self-help series, including Chicken Soup for the Couple’s Soul, Chicken Soup for the Child’s Soul, and the eponymous book that started it all, Chicken Soup for the Soul. In early May, Open Road Español published eight more books in the series, which include Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul, Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work, and Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul. With the publication of these new ebooks, Open Road Español’s large and diverse Spanish book catalog will include 16 of the most popular Chicken Soup for the Soul books.
In mid-2012, Open Road Integrated Media formed a partnership with Chicken Soup for the Soul in order to publish 160 books of the series in English in ebook format for the first time. Now, through its imprint Open Road Español, launched in early March of this year, the digital publisher is publishing the Chicken Soup for the Soul books in Spanish as well. With this initiative, Open Road Español makes a strategic move towards nonfiction, a category that performs especially well among the Hispanic audience and lends itself perfectly to the digital format.
For more than 20 years, Chicken Soup for the Soul has published around 250 books on personal growth, self-development, and professional success. Each book contains extraordinary stories of ordinary people that inspire different types of readers: mothers, children, workers, teenagers, and many more.
Chicken Soup for the Soul ebooks in Spanish are sold at the major digital retailers across the world, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, iTunes, Google Play, and BajaLibros.
