A warrant for 2nd Degree Kidnapping and Felony Menacing has been issued for 24 year old Nicholas Heraldo Archuleta and 23 year old James Manton Brown Jr.
Archuleta and Brown have been identified as the two suspects who kidnapped, at gunpoint, a male victim during an encounter at Cottonwood Creek Park, 7040 Rangewood Dr, on June 17, 2014. After complying with the suspects’ demands, the suspects drove the victim back to Cottonwood Park and released him unharmed.
An associated vehicle used in the kidnapping is a black 2011 Dodge Avenger with CO plate 483XXJ.
Archuleta is described as a Hispanic male, 5’ 09”, 181 pounds with Black hair and Brown eyes and numerous tattoos to include “John 10:17-18” on his neck.
Brown is described as a white male, 5’ 11”, 190 pounds with Blonde hair and Blue eyes and “Jayden” tattooed on his right forearm and “Manton” tattooed on his left forearm. Both should be considered armed and dangerous. This is an on-going investigation, so no further information will be released at this time.
