Pueblo Zoo/Pueblo Library Partnership Expansion‏

The Pueblo City-County Library District and the Pueblo Zoo are proud to expand the “Check Out the Zoo” program by doubling the number of passes available for checkout.  This innovative program was first introduced August 1, 2013 and has been wildly popular with a nearconstant waiting list.  More than 300 people have been admitted on the passes. Adding more passes will make this program available to even more community members.

The program was established to ensure that all Puebloans, regardless of ability to pay, have access to discover and enjoy the Pueblo Zoo. The Zoo Passes are provided to library patrons to check out year-round (each pass admits up to four).  They are available for checkout throughout the system with check out for up to seven days.
