The Broadmoor Now Offers Direct Shuttle Service from Denver International Airport
30th Space Symposium Participants Can Take Advantage of Convenient New Service
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 21, 2014) — Just in time for the Space Foundation’s 30th Space Symposium, The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is now offering direct shuttle service to and from Denver International Airport.
The 30th Space Symposium will be held May 19-22 at the five-star, five-diamond Broadmoor, and with more than 9,000 participants expected this year from over 20 countries, it will be easier than ever to attend this premier four-day global space conference.
The shuttle vehicles are equipped with WiFi, and bottled water will be provided. Advance reservations are required, and guests can have the charge billed to their Broadmoor room.
The new shuttle service is available via Gray Line, beginning May 19, at a cost of $75 per person each way. Departures from The Broadmoor begin at 4:00 a.m. daily, and depart every two hours thereafter through 6:00 p.m. Departures from DIA to The Broadmoor will begin at 10:00 a.m. daily, departing every two hours thereafter through 10:00 p.m.

In addition to more international participation than ever this year, the 30th Space Symposium will also feature new Classified Sessions at an off-site location, and a full day Technical Track.
For New Generation space professionals age 35 or younger, a new networking opportunity will be offered this year during the Symposium — a SpaceSLAM competition between space enthusiasts and professionals in front of a live audience for applause, bragging rights and prizes.
The SpaceSLAM is part of the Space Foundation’s New Generation Initiatives and is co-sponsored by SLS and Orion Industry Team, with host Hans Davies, Senior Associate at Toffler Associates, and special guest Bill Nye.
