Yandel announces his upcoming tour “De Líder a Leyenda”

The Sony Music star will start off with three dazzling

concerts at Stage 48 in New York, the Concord Music Hall

in Chicago and the Liv Night Club in Miami

 

San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dallas,

Houston, Chicago, Washington and Orlando will also

be visited by the Puerto Rican sensation

 

The tour also includes a special show dedicated

to all his compatriots, on October 4th, at the

Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot in Puerto Rico

 

Yandel is nominated for four Billboard Latin Music

Awards 2014 which will be handed out on Thursday,

April 24th, in Miami, Florida

 

 The king of Latin urban music sets off on a much-awaited U.S. tour inspired by his first solo album “De Líder a Leyenda,” which has become a real sensation in the record industry.
 
The Sony Music Latin star will start off this tour with three dazzling “Billboard Solo por Invitación” events that will undoubtedly delight his audiences at Stage 48, in New York (April 10th); the Concord Music Hall, in Chicago (on the 11th) and at the Liv Night Club, in Miami, Florida (April 12th).
 
The “De Líder a Leyenda VIP Tour” will continue breaking records at The Fillmore in San Francisco on June 5th, and in the following days will land at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and Chicago. Yandel’s fans will also be able to enjoy the magic and strength of his music on June 20th at The Fillmore in Washington, the next day at Irving Plaza in New York, the 27th at House of Blues in Orlando and on the 28th at The Fillmore in Miami.
 
The tour also includes a special show dedicated to all his fellow citizens on October 4th, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan.
 
With his new solo album, “De Líder a Leyenda,” Yandel continues his meteoric rise in the music business. The album includes 17 new songs, most written and coproduced by Yandel with the collaboration of musical luminaries such as Daddy YankeeJ. ÁlvarezGadiel “El General” andDon Omar.
 
The biggest hit in his first solo album was “Hablé de Ti,” which hit #1 on Spanish-language radio in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and climbed to the top of Billboard’s Airplay Latino. The second single, “Hasta Abajo,” also made musical waves.
 
The impact of his first solo album also meant he received four nominations to the prestigious Latin Music Billboard Awards, to be held Thursday, April 24th, 2014, in Miami, Florida.
 
Yandel is nominated as “Artist of the Year, Soloist, Latin Rhythm Songs” and “Artist of the Year Soloist, Latin Rhythm Albums.” From his days with Wisin he is nominated as “Duo or Group of the Year, Latin Pop Songs,” “Duo or Group of the Year,   Latin Rhythm Songs” and “Duo or Group of the Year, Latin Rhythm Albums.”
 
This multi-talented star has had innumerable hits in his fourteen-year career, both as a soloist and part of duo with Wisin. He has sold millions of albums and appeared in concert in some of the world’s most important stages, making a name for himself internationally as one of the most outstanding performers in the field of urban music.
