THE WORLDWIDE TV PREMIERE OF “CORAZÓN EN LA MALETA” WILL TAKE PLACE DURING
“PREMIO LO NUESTRO AWARD” CEREMONY
NEXT THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20 ON UNIVISION
Internationally renowned artist and Grammy winner Luis Fonsi released today his highly anticipated new single “Corazón en la Maleta” exclusively on Uforia (Univision Radio) in the US and radio stations across the world. Starting tomorrow, February 18th, the new single will be available for sale in all digital platforms including iTunes®.
In celebration of this global release, “Corazón en la Maleta”’s worldwide TV premiere will take place at this year’s “Premio lo Nuestro Award Ceremony”; where the multiplatinum artist will perform LIVE from Miami on February 20th 2014 at 8PM on Univision Network.
From the moment the award-winning artist announced the title and release date of “Corazón En La Maleta,” the passion and love of his followers were felt through all social media platforms, making Fonsi a “Trending Topic” in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Dominican Republic and Spain, among others.
Last Friday, a 0:15s sneak preview of the song was released exclusively through his official Facebook® page, causing great excitement among the 15 million people who follow him on a daily basis through his social networks.
In Fonsi’s words, the new single has a much more mature sound that breaks away from the melancholy and incites joy and happiness. Co-written by Fonsi and the award-winning singer/songwriter Claudia Brant, “Corazón En La Maleta” is the first taste of the musical evolution of the artist responsible of the radio hits “No Me Doy por Vencido,” “Aquí Estoy Yo,” “Gritar,” and many more.
With this track, Fonsi has managed to transform his sound in an organic way, giving prominence to the exceptional musicians that accompany the voice that has made him the leader of the new generation of Latin music. “Corazón En La Maleta” was produced by the Swedish composer and producer Martin Terefe, winner of multiple Grammy® Awards for his work with Jason Mraz, James Blunt, Mary J. Blige, James Morrison and Craig David, among others; while the mastering of the album was done at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
