Festival Fridays Plays It Cool This Winter

Festival Fridays returns this winter to the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center! Our renowned Festival Fridays concerts provide the opportunity to socialize with friends in a casual environment offering Happy Hour and cocktails, food from Ortiz Catering and outstanding live musical entertainment. Performing in our Jackson Conference Center, these bands are sure to please and make you forget about the freeze.

KRUSH – January 24
KRUSH delivers a profound performance everywhere they perform, taking the songs we all love and remember from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s,  as well as its share of jazz and great country music. This four-piece band formed several years ago and has performed at major events such as the B Street Bash, Kick in the Butt in Florence, and Oktoberfest in La Veta.

THE MARTINI SHOT – January 31
THE MARTINI SHOT is six-piece Pop-Rock band based out of Southern Colorado which performs covers and originals nearly every weekend throughout the year. The band was established in 2000 and most of the members are local music teachers. Their name,
Martini Shot, refers to the Hollywood slang term for the last shoot of the day. They are a favorite at local festivals and event series around Pueblo.

THUMPIN’ – February 7
In just over two years, THUMPIN’ has become one of the most popular bands on the Denver music scene, drawing enthusiastic crowds and amassing a loyal following who love what this band does: provides music that moves the body and soul, and with maximum groove. Thumpin’ combines two energetic lead vocalists with a tight rhythm and horn section, pristine vocal harmonies, and a repertoire of songs that spans five decades of funk, soul, and R&B.
