“The public’s response to her presentations and nearly

20 million hits on the musical video ‘La gloria de Dios’

on YouTube are enough to assure Evaluna Montaner, the

daughter of singer Ricardo Montaner, that she has chosen

the right path.” – El Nuevo Herald 1/17/14

Only a few months after launching her first record as a soloist, Evaluna Montaner has already received 1.2 million hits on her video “Si Existe” on YouTube/VEVO.

Her success was such that the largest Spanish-language newspaper in the U.S., El Nuevo Herald, wrote this about her: “The response to her presentations and the nearly 20 million hits on the musical video ‘La Gloria de Dios’ on YouTube are enough to assure Evaluna Montaner, the daughter of singer songwriter Ricardo Montaner, that she has chosen the right path …” (See link below:)http://www.elnuevoherald.com/2014/01/16/1657685/evaluna-montaner-el-camino-del.html

And the article goes on to say that “…in the past few weeks Evaluna’s video ‘Si Existe’ directed by Marlene Rodríguez Miranda, and filmed in the Everglades, has not exactly gone unnoticed on cyberspace.” The video has gotten more than 1.2 million hits. Evaluna is delighted with the unexpected success of her song, as her style and charisma continue to delight her public.

“I’m delighted with the reception my song has received. It’s my first as a soloist and expresses my love of God and the fact that without Him, there is nothing I can do. I am thrilled and excited, waiting to see people’s reaction,” said Evaluna.

Sony Music US Latin President, Nir Seroussi had this to say, “Evaluna is a tremendous young talent with her own unique artistic personality. Her voice is fresh and powerful and she obviously has a future in any field she chooses.”

“Si Existe” was written and produced by Evaluna’s brother,Ricky Montaner, of the duo MR, who says the song “emphasizes that the beauty of nature and of everyday life could only mean there is a God.”

Evaluna is not a newcomer to the world of music since, fortunately, she was born into a home where music was the center of life.  This is how she summarizes her love of performing, “I love to sing, dance and act.  I adore all three, so it’s hard to say which attracts me the most but I do know that my life will always be dedicated to show business.”

Evaluna Mercedes Reglero Montaner was born August 7, 1997 in Caracas, Venezuela. She hails from a show biz family, the youngest daughter of international singer songwriter Ricardo Montaner and his wife, filmmaker Marlene Rodríguez Miranda. All four of her brothers, Alejandro, Hector, Ricky and Mauricio are in the music business, and she followed in their footsteps.  Her parents named her Evaluna after the marvelous book by Chilean writer Isabel Allende and Mercedes after her maternal grandmother.

Her artistic debut took place at age four with the video of “Si tuviera que elegir” (“If I had to choose), a song dedicated to her by her father, Ricardo Montaner.

To the delight of the viewing public, Evaluna sang “Only Hope” on the popular “Susana Giménez” show in Argentina on August 2, 2009 and in November of that same year she sang “And I Am Telling You” (Dreamgirls) on “Don Francisco Presenta” on Univision. She has performed as dancer and singer and has made cameo appearances on her father’s recent tours of Latin American.  In 2010, she was invited to take a stellar role in the TV soap opera Grachi, a Nickelodeon production.

“My biggest thrill is to work as an entertainer and to be with my family,” says this young talent.

“Si Existe” is a production by Hecho a Mano and distributed by Sony Music US Latin.
