Los Angeles, CA. (December 12, 2013) – “JENNI LIVESJENNI LIVESJENNI LIVES!” It was the simultaneous heart-felt exclamation of an audience yesterday during a tribute to the Diva of La Banda. Alongside the event, 1969-Siempre En Vivo Desde Monterrey debuts #1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin chart.

On Monday, the voice of JENNI RIVERA once again reverberated throughout the Monterrey Arena, who, with the help of large screens, was present at the celebration that the Rivera family organized to remember her along with her fans for the first year without the physical presence of ‘Lady.’

A succession of artists gathered to be part of this event whose venue, home to the last stage on which JENNI would perform, surged at maximum capacity. For over four hours, artists such as Moderatto, Luz María, Marisela, La Original Banda El Limon, Larry Hernández, Diana Reyes, La Leyenda, Los Herederos, Tito El Bambino and many more, performed the songs of JENNI on a night full of nostalgia, melancholy, stories, tears, but nonetheless a joyous feeling with Jenni more alive than ever.

There were several special moments throughout the night, but some in particular that emphasized the event “JENNI VIVE”: the message that Rosie Rivera gave to the audience and one other; listening to Jenicka and Jacqie in memory of their mother along with the rest of the family.

Moreover, Antonio Silva, General Manager of Fonovisa/Disa Mexico and The US, presented the Rivera family, in particular to Chiquis, Jenicka, Jacqie, Mikey and Johnny, with the Platinum Record for the more than 135,000 sold in the U.S. and the Gold Record for the more than 30,000 records sold in Mexico from the album, “1969-SIEMPRE EN VIVO DESDE MONTERREY PARTE1”

It was in this spirit that at on Tuesday, at 2:00 am in the morning, audiences gradually left the Monterrey Arena. A place which again touched hearts with banda, tamborazo, tequila and the unforgettable voice of JENNI that will live on forever…
