Nothing is permanent in this world, but when someone touches your heart and becomes part of your life, they live forever. Such is the case of JENNI RIVERA, who will always be with us, through her voice, strength and musical legacy.
And it is precisely this musical legacy that Universal Music Latin Entertainment/ Fonovisa, along with Rosie Rivera and “La Diva’s” children, wish to give to audiences who have celebrated Jenni throughout her career.
To this end, on Friday, November 1, Rosie Rivera, who JENNI left as head of her legacy, met in the city of Los Angeles with Víctor González (President of UMLE), Gustavo López (Executive Vice President of New Business and Digital) Mark Berger (VP of Business Affairs) and Martha Ledezma (Director of Marketing Fonovisa / Disa Mexico-USA) to sign a contract to continue providing Mexico, the United States and Latin America music from “La Diva”.
This will be in the form of a live production, to be released in December 03, one of the most important performances that the public will surely treasure: The Sold Out concert JENNI performed at the Arena Monterrey last December and in which she sang to audience’s delight for more than three hours.
Audiences will be able to watch and listen to her in this CD + DVD, produced by her brother Juan Rivera, such production will serve as a preamble for the event that will be held in Monterrey México in which various artists and personalities will unite to honor her.
Rosie Rivera commented on the album: “For our family, it’s a pleasure sharing this treasure with fans of our mother, daughter and sister. This effort has brought us tears and made us proud and now it gives us much happiness to continue with the company that worked with Jenni in other large projects. In honor and tradition to what Jenni Rivera is, we remain loyal to those whom have been loyal to her. Our thanks to Universal / Fonovisa for getting this treasure to all fans of ‘La Gran Senora’. A very special thanks to my brother Juan for his time and dedication that made this project possible”.
“Jenni Rivera will always be present in our lives through her music; it is now our work to share with audiences many songs that Jenni left for other times. Thanks to this new agreement, we have made a commitment to Rosie Rivera and the rest of Jenni’s family that her music will remain alive for the next years, transmitting emotions to its loyal audience. Thank you to Rosie and Juan, but above all thanks to her children, for their trust in us, and for this agreement that unites us for many years,” stated UMLE President, Víctor González.
