THE ACCLAIMED MEXICAN ALTERNATIVE BAND RELEASES THEIR NEW SINGLE AT RADIO AND FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD

 

NEW ALBUM, “PROGRÁMATON”, AVAILABLE OCTOBER 22

 

 The acclaimed Mexican alternative rock band,ZOÉ, has released their highly anticipated new single “10 A.M.” at radio and at iTunes in the US and Mexico. The song, which was produced by Phil Vinall and recorded at the Sonic Ranch studio in Tornillo, Texas, is the first official single from “Prográmaton”, the band’s first new studio album in more than 5 years. The album is scheduled to be released on October 22nd.
“10 A.M.” was officially released last night on Mexico’s nationally syndicated “Hora Nacional” radio program and culminates a highly buzzed about build up which began a couple of weeks ago with a mysterious countdown clock on the band’s official website www.zoetheband.com . The countdown led the way to the official single release announcement and a trending topic twitter euphoria of the band’s more than 4 million social media followers taking to the web to discuss the release.

 

Zoé is comprised of lead singer and guitarist León Larregui, guitarist Sergio Acosta, bass player Angel Mosqueda, drummer Rodrigo Guardiola and keyboard player Jesús Báez. Their discography has sold more than 1 million albums and downloads worldwide. Their latest release “MTV Unplugged, Música De Fondo” went quadruple platinum in Mexico and won the Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rock Song (Labios Rotos). The band has performed at sold-out venues throughout the world and have tour extensively throughout the US which dominating the stages of some of the country’s biggest music festivals including Coachella and SXSW.
