We are proud to announce that the leading U.S. Hispanic-owned energy provider, Liberty Power, has partnered with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation to launch a scholarship program that will provide funds to all eligible students pursuing STEM education with an interest in pursuing careers in the fields of energy or the environment.
“The USHCC is proud to partner with Liberty Power to offer annual scholarships to the bright minds of our nation, renewing our commitment to educate our future engineers, scientists and mathematicians so that they can help build the perennial American Dream,” said USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez. “We are deeply moved by Liberty Power for collaborating with us on this important initiative. Together we will work to stem the tide of students who cannot afford higher education by providing the resources they need to ensure this country continues to out innovate the rest of the world.”
We invite students currently enrolled in a two or four-year undergraduate university or those enrolled in a graduate university that have an interest in the field or the environment or energy to apply for Liberty Power’s Bright Horizons Scholarship that will aware one $10,00 scholarship and two $5,000 scholarships. Applications are due Sunday, August 25th at 11:59PM EST. This year’s inaugural award winners will be publicly announced at the USHCC National Convention in Chicago held on the dates of September 15th to the 17th.
