COLOMBIA’S #1 URBAN ARTIST BREAKS INTO THE TOP 5 OF RADIO CHARTS IN TURKEY

The Latin urban music phenomenon known as J BALVIN, continues to spread throughout the world including Eastern Europe where this week, the young Colombian rapper’s song “Tranquila” breaks into the Top 5 of some of Turkey’s most important radio station charts.The radio success in the region comes on the eve of the artist’s Eastern European tour which will take him to Romania next week for highly anticipated concerts and his first visit to the region..
J Balvin is #1 in his native Colombia with “Sola”, another track that will be included in his upcoming new album and track which quickly reached the #1 position on the Colombian iTunes chart upon its release. Meanwhile, “Yo Te Lo Dije”, the lyricist’s official US & Puerto Rico single also continues to make tremendous strides, breaking into the Top 10 of the Billboard Latin Rhythm Chart while in the process of becoming one of the country’s most buzzed about songs. J Balvin performed the single for the first time on national television 2 weeks ago at Univision’s Premios Juventud awards and the song, which is already an international hit, has more than 31 million views on VEVO and Youtube.
J Balvin has not only risen to the top of the charts worldwide with his own hits but also as a featured artist on two of the biggest hits of the moment including the Latin American version of Robin Thicke’s international mega-hit “Blurred Lines”, where he joins Pharrel Williams as a guest artist. The song has dominated the digital charts reaching #1 in Colombia and #3 I Chile. J Balvin is also featured on the Spanglish version of “The Way” by the young vocalist Ariana Grande, one of the biggest hits at international radio.
