The Southern Colorado Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK) invites the public to join them for a BBQ at the Pueblo Zoo.   In addition to serving as a fundraising for the group, this is a fantastic opportunity for the community to learn more about what zookeepers do in the beautiful zoo setting.   Attendees can talk directly with Zoo professionals about career opportunities in the field   The Keepers will give historic tours of the stunning depression era WPA/CCC architecture in the Zoo’s “Historic District” including the bear pits, Monkey Mountain, the herpetarium, etc.   Keepers will also host “keeper games”.
