This weekend, Julion Álvarez y Su Norteño Banda once again made music history at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, performing to a sold-out crowd in one of L.A’s top venues.

An incredible stage, multi-colored screens, lights and high-tech sound gear perfectly framed Julion Álvarez y Su Norteño Banda’sperformance. The evening kicked off with his current hit single “La Fory Fay“, off of the singer’s new album “Tu Amigo Nada Mas“, a song that has stirred controversy, as it speaks against treacherous women.
The audience sang along to each song sung by the Regional Mexican star from Chiapas, Mexico and remained standing throughout the entire night as he belted the tunes to the rhythm of his unique blend of Norteño Banda: “ Tu No Tienes La Culpa “, “Olvidame“, “Marchate“, “Las Mulas De Moreno“, “La María“, “Los Plebes“, “Eres Tu“, “Y Tu” and “Terrenal“, among others, transforming the night into a party where the tuba and accordion vibrated like never before.
As a surprise, Julion featured special guests, such as the emotional participation of his father in a performance, as well as Tony Meléndez, the great singer from Conjunto Primavera.
