·         Location: Upper 1/3 of east side of Long Scraggy Peak

·         Containment: 70%

·         Cause: Lightning

·         Size: 1.5 acre

·         Crews: 20 Firefighters

·         Structures Threatened: 0

·         Structures Lost: 0

·         Closures: None

·         Evacuations: The 4 mile radius information alert around the fire area has been lifted as of 11:00 a.m.

 

 

 

Crews made excellent progress on the fire yesterday due to air support and high humidity.  Currently, there are 20 firefighters patrolling and doing mop up.  Crews should have the fire completely contained by the end of the day.

 

The Fourth of July weekend is upon us.  Be aware that fireworks are never allowed on federal lands and remember to check all fire restrictions in your local areas.
