AMR Honored As Silver Stevie® Award Winner In 2013 American Business Awards

AMR was presented with a Silver Stevie® Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year category in The 11th Annual American Business Awards in Chicago on June 17th.
AMR won for their “Save the Summer” toy and sporting goods drive held last summer. AMR team members, who have a long history of organizing donation drives for people in need, quickly put together a “Save the Summer” sporting goods and toy drive for the children effected by the Waldo Canyon Fire. “While AMR is Colorado Spring’s medical transportation provider, every paramedic and EMT knows that there is so much more to being part of a community. I congratulate every team member for this recognition of serving people in need”, Ted Sayer, AMR General Manager.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process this year.
