One of the most charismatic and talented performers of the Regional Mexican genre, Roberto Tapia once again conquers the #1 spot in album sales in the United States, this time with his album “Lo Mejor De”, making this his second debut as #1 of Billboard Top 100 Latin.
ROBERTO TAPIA was born in San Diego and raised in Culiacán, Mexico. As a child, he performed in hundreds of stages, singing corridos and songs for years, proving that his fame has not been an overnight success. He studied music at the age of nine, and as he grew older, he learned to play various instruments including the clarinet, guitar and tambora.
Boasting a discography of now eight albums, he has also stood out as a prolific songwriter and arranger of his own albums. Many popular recording artists have sought him out for songs and arrangements for their new projects.
“Me Enamore” is the single that ROBERTO released to radio off of his “best of” album “Lo Mejor De… ROBERTO TAPIA“. In this album, ROBERTO TAPIA showcases 18 of his biggest hits, part of them under the corrido genre. “Lo Mejor De… ROBERTO TAPIA” includes two new songs, the first of them actually in promotion “Me Enamore“, and the second, “ElSeñor de los cielos”, the theme song of a popular telenovela of the same name, currently airing in the United States.
