The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be paving a 1 ½-mile segment of U.S. 50 between Texas Creek and Cotopaxi next week (mile 249 – 250.5).
Flaggers will alternate eastbound and westbound traffic through the work zone from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and, if necessary, Wednesday, June 10 – 12. Delays up to 15 minutes should be expected.
The road is being resurfaced with asphalt, preventing surface deterioration and helping to preserve the road base.
Drivers are asked to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
