In 1995, a new tradition was started in New York City called Puerto Rico National Day. This is always celebrated the second weekend in June. One of our goals is that you come to this event and learn of some of our culture, and understand who we are, as Puerto Ricans and yet American citizens. Our mission is to promote Puerto Rico culture and history through celebration and education.
