CenturyLink Offers Free Emergency Call Forwarding to Customers

Impacted by the Wildfires in Black Forest and Canyon City

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, June 12, 2013 – CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) is offering Emergency Call Forwarding free of charge to customers who may be impacted by the Black Forest and Canyon City fires. Staying connected is critical, whether it is updating friends, family, your customers or accessing critical fire information.

KEY FACTS:

  • CenturyLink has activated it Emergency Call Forwarding (ECF) feature for customers who are or may be evacuated from their homes and offices. ECF helps local residents and businesses stay in contact with family and customers by forwarding calls to an alternate local phone number, including local wireless numbers. To activate service, residential and small business customers can call CenturyLink at 800.573.1311.
  • Customers who use a CenturyLink provided email address can access it from anywhere at any time via an Internet-connected device.Go towww.centurylink.net and “log in.”
  • Our CenturyLink technicians continue to work around the clock, and are proactively working to protect critical circuits for the safety of our customers, including our wireless radio towers.
