Meet and Greet with Kaitlyn Tripp
Comedy Works South at the Landmark
Friday, May 10 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm
Who is Kaitlyn Tripp you ask? She is the next BIG thing when it comes to drag racing! Comedy and drag racing are two things you don’t often hear together, but recently Comedy Works has paired up with a young racecar driver, Kaitlyn Tripp, from Golden.
Tripp is currently racing in the Super Gas category at Bandimere Speedway, driving for Larry and Judy McKim in their orange ’68 Dodge Dart. Come out to Comedy Works South at the Landmark in Greenwood Village on Friday, May 10th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm for a Meet and Greet with Kaitlyn and her racecar.
Kaitlyn comes from a family of racers and continues to carry on the family name on the racetracks. Wende Curtis, the owner of Comedy Works, knows what it is like growing up on the racetracks; her father, Terry Curtis, was a racer himself. Terry Curtis was a close friend of Jerry and Larry McKim, the owner of Kaitlyn’s current car, throughout life and on the racetracks. Comedy Works sponsored Terry Curtis for a longtime when he raced and is now proud to sponsor Kaitlyn Tripp, an accomplished racer with ambition and drive.
During the Meet and Greet grab food and drinks at Lila B. Lounge [located on the 1st floor of the club]. Happy Hour specials are served from 4:00pm to 6:30pm and live music is featured, as a part of Acoustic Live at Lila B. music series, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
If you are interested in staying for a show, Jay Mohr is headlining that night. Tickets are still available for his two shows at 7:15pm and 9:45pm. Call 720-274-6800 or visit comedyworks.com for tickets and information.
