Colorado Department of Revenue offers Sales/Use Tax Class for Contractors and Manufacturers in Breckenridge

 The construction industry has unique rules and laws regarding taxes. The Colorado Department of Revenue offers a tax class for contractors and manufacturers that covers new and relevant information on a variety of sales and use tax issues, including but not limited to the liabilities businesses face when they are not in compliance with state tax laws. This class is for businesses located in Colorado, out-of-state businesses selling to Colorado purchasers, tax preparers consulting with Colorado clients on this topic, those who have attended the Sales/Use Tax Part I class, and/or those who need a refresher course on Colorado sales/use tax laws in this industry. Topics include: sales/use tax collection, working with tax-exempt organizations, what’s taxable/not taxable, examples of potential use tax liabilities and available resources/electronic services.Don’t miss important information on the following date in June:
