Last night, Puerto Rican singer-songwriterChristian Pagan took his first major step in capturing an international audience with his successful performance as Latin music icon, Alejandro Sanz’s, special invited artist during his first U.S. tour date which took place at a sold-out Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
His first song “Amazing” captivated the public, a majority of which were women who swooned and applauded to the voice of the new face of Puerto Rican pop music. His performance continued with his current single, “Tu y Yo”. The song, a ballad fused with rock rhythms, is quickly becoming a favorite in Christian’s native Puerto Rico.
Later, the young artist thanked Alejandro Sanz and Universal Music, for giving him this opportunity. “It’s an honor and a privilege to experience this and I still can’t believe it. I want to thank Alejandro Sanz for giving me this opportunity. He is an idol, an icon and one of the biggest Latin music artists of all time,” expressed Pagan.
He closed out his performance with “Contigo en la cama” and “Desde que se fue”, both songs which have topped radio charts in Puerto Rico and received a tremendous response from the capacity crowd.
Christian Pagan will continue his performances as the special invited artist for Alejandro Sanz at his upcoming “La Musica No Se Toca” tour dates at the historic Radio City Music Hall in New York on May 4 and at the Puerto Rico Coliseum on May 12.
