Ute Pass Lane Closure Tomorrow

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close the right lane of westbound U.S. 24, one mile west of Manitou Springs, on Friday, April 26, to allow crews to break up the boulders that came down onto the highway Tuesday night.

Drivers should expect some slowing through the area while the lane is closed from 9 a.m. until noon.

CDOT Maintenance pushed the boulders onto the right shoulder area after the rockslide to allow the lane to reopen to traffic that night.

Updated information regarding traffic impacts on this or other CDOT projects is available at www.coloradodot.info/travel/scheduled-lane-closures or by calling 511.  To receive project updates via e-mail, visit www.coloradodot.info and click on the cell-phone icon in the upper right-hand corner.  The link takes you to a list of items you can subscribe to, including Southeast Colorado.
