Get your picnic basket ready. We’ve got four Summer Symphony performances coming soon: all FREE, and all FUN!
For the first time in years, the parks of our region will play host to a series of FREE summer performances of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. Taking their lead from the legendary Summer Symphony concerts established by Charles Ansbacher, Bee Vradenburg and the City of Colorado Springs, this fresh series celebrates and connects our community around area parks, enlivens summer nights, and is just plain fun!
All concerts are free and open to the public:
Colorado Springs Together
June 26 at Mountain Shadows Park
July 4 at Memorial Park
America the Beautiful
July 20 at Security Service Field (Sky Sox Stadium)
Faithfully: A Symphonic Tribute to the Music of Journey
July 27 at Bear Creek Park
Special thanks to the four sponsors behind Summer Symphony: El Pomar Foundation, The Anschutz Foundation, the City of Colorado Springs, and El Paso County Enterprise Zone. Summer Symphony is a reality today because of their vision and dedication to a vibrant Colorado Springs. Special funding also provided by Colorado Springs Together.
There are so many reasons to love Summer Symphony. It’s free and fun. It’s one of our best traditions. It’s a chance to hear great music. Just like the many parks of Colorado Springs, the Philharmonic is a community treasure. This summer, we’re set for evenings of fun, entertainment, and fireworks under starlit Colorado skies.
