Fountain Creek Nature Adventures – Wonderful Wetlands 
Thursday, May 2, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Children ages 3-6, with an adult, will enjoy puppet shows, nature stories, crafts, hands-on activities, and discovery time on the trail. ($4.00 per person, Reservations required, 520-6745)
Fountain Creek Family Fun Day
Saturday, May 4, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Get outdoors and experience activities for children ages 2-92!  Fossil exploration with Dinosaur Resource Center and Florissant Fossil Beds, recycling wizardry with Bestway Disposal’s MRF Super Hero, solar oven s’mores, birding, pond critter investigations, bug sweeps, puppet shows, and “artivities” are just some of the activities designed to connect you and your children.  Get in on the nature connection!  Call 520-6745 for more details. Twos & Threes Outdoors – Wiggly Worms

Share in the joy of your 2 or 3 year-old child’s discovery as he or she enjoys a story and an exploration hike outdoors. ($3.00 for each participant including adults and siblings, Reservations required, 520-6745)
Fountain Creek Spring Bird Count
Saturday, May 11, 7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Beginning-to-advanced birders are invited to observe and record the numbers of bird species and populations found in Fountain Creek Regional Park during the height of the spring migration. ($5.00 donation for birdseed, Reservations required, 520-6745)
Sunset Wildlife Hike
Friday, May 24, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Join us for a walk through the Cattail Marsh Wildlife Area to enjoy the sights and sounds of spring.  We may even see a beaver!  ($3/member and $4/nonmember, Reservations required, 520-6745)
