Water Stewardship Day
Saturday, May 11, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Join others in your community who care about one of our precious natural resources – water. Volunteers will beautify and offer tender loving care to the native water-wise gardens as well as clean Bear Creek.  After work we’ll enjoy a hotdog lunch. (Free, Reservations required, 520-6387)

Bear Creek Spring Bird Count
Saturday, May 18, 7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Birding enthusiasts of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in a citizen science project counting species and populations in Bear Creek Park. ($5.00 donation for birdseed, Reservations required, 520-6387)
Bear Creek Nature Explorers – Roly-poly’s
Saturday, May 25 & Thursday, May 30, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Children, ages 4 – 5 with an adult, will enjoy hands-on activities, puppet shows, crafts, and a hike.  ($4.00/person including adults and siblings, Reservations required, 520-6387)
Storytelling Hike & Campfire
Friday, May 17, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Join a naturalist for a fun evening hike filled with great nature stories, songs, and end with “smores” around a campfire. ($4.00/member, $5.00/nonmember, Reservations required, call 520-6387)
Little Wonders – Ants on Parade
Thursday, May 23, 9:00 – 10:15 a.m.
Discover the world of nature with your 2 or 3 year-old.  Interactive activities and a short hike make this the perfect introduction to the outdoors for your child. ($3.00/participant including adults & siblings, Reservations required, 520-6387)
