The Pirouettes of Texas to Host 2013 U.S. Open in Irving

USA Synchro has announced that the Pirouettes of Texas Synchronized Swimming Club will host the 2013 U.S. Open Synchronized Swimming Championships in Irving, Texas, July 9-13.

 

“We are really excited to be headed to Texas,” USA Synchro Executive Director Julie Fabsik-Swarts said. “The Pirouettes and the local organizing team have been wonderful in meeting all of the needs of the athletes and officials. I expect it will be an excellent event.”

 

Individuals and teams will compete for national titles in junior and senior divisions in solo, duet, team, figure and free combination at the North Lake College Natatorium.

 

The Pirouettes of Texas and the City of Irving most recently hosted the U.S. Open in 2010. Irving has hosted several synchronized swimming events, including the 2012 Junior Zone and the 1996 Junior National Championship.
