Over 300 Hispanic Families Come Together At The “Education Is The Key” Event

Hispanic CREO’s event to create awareness of K-12 educational options to the Hispanic community

The Hispanic Council for Reform and Educational Options will be hosting the “Education is the Key” event at the Futbox Futsal Center in Doral with over 300 people in attendance.

This absolutely free event is open to the public on Saturday, March 2, 2013 and will engage Hispanic parents on a variety of K-12 educational options and scholarships available to them in the State of Florida. This exciting event will have exhibitors to hand out free information to parents and it will be a fun-filled day with active activities such as bounce houses, soccer tournaments, face painting and much more for the children.

“Education is the key to our children’s future. We want to empower Hispanic parents at this event to be more involved in their child’s education and pursue quality education that will prepare their child for life,” said Julio Fuentes, President/CEO of Hispanic CREO.

As the largest minority group in the country, many Hispanic parents are having difficulty placing their child in a chosen school. This event can connect these parents to information they need to learn how to exercise choice.

The “Education is the Key” event can break barriers and provide the opportunity for Hispanic families to connect with networks and alliances to receive the assistance to provide the best education possible for their child.
