32nd Anniversary Walk at the Black Forest Regional Park

Falcon Wanderers Volksmarch Club’s 32nd Anniversary Walk at the Black Forest Regional Park on May 11, 2013

The 32nd Anniversary Walk is being hosted by the Falcon Wanderers, the Wild Blue Animal Rescue & Sanctuary and the El Paso County Parks at Pavilion #1 in  the Black Forest Regional Park, 4800 Shoup Rd. Black Forest, CO. Come on out and help the Falcon Wanderers celebrate their 32nd anniversary and participate in Community Service by picking up trash along the Black Forest Park trail. You may start register anytime between 9AM and 12 Noon. You must complete the walk by 3PM.

The trail consists of mainly dirt trails. Both the 5KM (3.1 miles) and 10KM (6.2 miles) trails are rated 2B (moderate). Strollers can complete the trail with difficulty. Wheelchairs cannot complete this event. Leashed pets are welcomed. Pet owners are responsible for picking up after their pets.

The Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary will bring a few cats available for adoption. Walkers are encouraged to bring a donation of pet food or make a monetary donation if they wish to help the rescue.
