Waldo Canyon Fire Rewards

The Waldo Canyon Fire Task Force continues to seek information into the identity of the person(s) who started the fire in June of 2012.


If you recall, investigators determined that the fire was caused by human means, but it remains unknown if it was intentionally or accidentally set.


Reward Money, up to $100,000 is still available for information leading to the identification and arrest (if applicable) of the person(s) responsible for causing the Waldo Canyon Fire.


The Colorado Springs Police Department is imploring anyone having suspect information to please call 719.385.2222.  This is the only number to call to receive a reward.  You will be required to leave your name and contact number.

Additionally, there is separate money available for suspect information that leads to the identification and arrest of persons involved in the home and vehicle burglaries in the evacuation area of the Waldo Canyon fire.

An investigator will follow-up with each person who leaves a message.
