2013, The Year Of The “Tribal Generation”

generacion tribal

This year will undoubtedly be the year of GENERACION TRIBAL (TRIBAL GENERATION)! The new musical project features turntable talent that will share with audiences an explosive mixture of sounds and rhythm sure to make everyone dance.

GENERACION TRIBAL is the name of a collective under which various singers and DJs are uniting, putting together their talent and unique styles to collaborate on 12 songs that will become great tribal genre favorites for fans worldwide.

The first single released to radio features the voice and style of LOS HIJOS DEL SEÑOR (Lord’s Sons), the Norteña band originally from Guamuchil, Sinaloa, Mexico and whose fusion of accordion, tuba and bass along with the tribal sound give the song “Shot” a real shot at becoming a top hit. Written by Erick Rincon of 3BALLMTY fame, Antonio Hernandez Luna and Edgar Buelna, the track makes reference to that small cup of alcohol and its effects on people when partying.

Parallel to this single, audiences can also enjoy “No bailes de caballito” (“Don’t Dance Horse Style”), a track featuring EL BEBETO in a remake of the 90s hit made famous by Mi Banda El Mexicano,  returning now in a new version with a different rhythm and under a new genre. EL BEBETO lent his voice to 3BALLMTY’s successful hit song “Intentalo” and even though he wouldn’t change his “banda” genre for any other, he has discovered a different facet of himself as the interpreter of a genre that has conquered audiences around the world and continues to do so in increasingly more innovative ways.
