María Marín named one of the
25 Most Powerful Women in People en Español
International motivational speaker, author and radio personality, María Marín earned a spot on People en Español Magazine’s list of the 25 Most Powerful Women. Also recognized are Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Lopez, Maria Antonieta Collins, Eva Longoria and Angelica Rivera. The magazine’s November issue will feature these and other exceptional women who have made an impact in the performing arts, politics, business and social issues.
Marín is the leading voice of empowerment for Hispanics in the United States and Latin America. Through her radio program and bestselling books, conferences, television appearances, social media and weekly articles in more than 100 newspapers, she has positively impacted the lives of millions of people around the world.
“For the past 10 years, my passion has been to motivate and empower the Hispanic community, especially women. There is nothing more gratifying in life than helping others achieve their dreams. I am privileged that People en Español has recognized my life-long efforts, especially because there are so many powerful Hispanic women,” said Marin.
María Marín is the host of the national radio program El show de Maria Marin on Univision Radio, where she guides listeners through a wide array of topics including love, family and self-empowerment. She also collaborates on a weekly basis with the television program, Despierta America. In addition, Marín is the spokesperson of the American Diabetes Association for the Hispanic community as well as other campaigns including Orgullosa of Procter & Gamble and Pensemos Positivo of Honey Bunches of Oats.
To further celebrate the recognition as one of the 25 Most Powerful Women, Marin will launch her third book titled, Si soy tan buena, ¿por qué estoy soltera? (If I’m so fabulous, why am I single?).
