THE SPANISH SINGER AND COMPOSER CONTINUES HIS AMERICAN TOUR THIS WEEKEND WITH TWO CONCERTS IN MIAMI
Spanish singer and songwriter Jose Luis Perales presents “Calle Soledad”, his new album which has already become one of the highest selling albums in Spain. The album is his first studio production in 6 years and is available this week for the first time in stores in the United States and Puerto Rico
The album is comprised of eleven new songs and combines the style and essence that have become one of the characteristics of the artist with fresh and innovative production. In “Calle Soledad” his fans will find the classic Jose Luis Perales with stunning cords and poetic lyrics, alongside new acoustic sounds, electric guitars and potent bass rhythms.
A grand variety of styles can be found in “Calle Soledad” including country, folk and blues in songs such as “Olvidame si puedes” and “Aun te quiero”, ballads such as “Tal vez quiero volver” and rock influenced tracks such as “Breve como la luz” and “Morir por ti”. Fans will also find songs such as “Nunca sabre”, where the lyrics are pure poetry that strike the soul and include very little instrumentation. Other songs such as “El invierno” are reminiscent of his first albums and will please his earliest career followers.
Calle Soledad was recorded with top-level international producers. The arrangements were handled by Ivan “Melon” Lewis, theacclaimed Cuban pianist who reunites with Jose Luis Perales after having produced classics such as “Y como es el”, “Te quiero” and “Si para” for his album “En directo. 35 años”. He also counts with the participation of Borja Montenegro, the talented young Spanish guitarist who has been of part of Perales’ band since 2007 and who contributed arrangements for the album “Propiedad de nadie”, which Perales composed for Rosa in 2009.
Alongside the participation of the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, “Calle Soledad” was mixed in Sweden by Frederik Häggstam, Johan Gustafson, Sebastian Lundberg (Trinity Music) and mastered in New York by Alan Silverman, who all contribute to the international sound of the record.
This weekend, Perales continues his American tour which has already taken him to Chile, Argentina, Peru and the US cities of New Jersey, Boston and Chicago during the month of October.
