Free workshop Oct. 10 for current business owners or individuals who are interested in opening a small business. The workshop presenter will be Ms. Kim Grimsley, financial advisor for Edward Jones and a former Otero Junior College business instructor.
The workshop, entitled “The Entrepreneurial Equation,” will teach valuable business strategies to the business owner to help:
· Save time;
· Attract and retain employees; and
· Preserve the business for the owner and the owner’s heirs.
The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 5:30-7 p.m. in McBride Hall Room 115 on the Otero Junior College campus. While there is no cost to attend, seating is limited, so please call Bill Dutro, Director of the Small Business Development Center at (719) 384-6959 to reserve a seat.
