After giving more than 100 concerts in the last year, the Spanish artist arrives in the British capital with his successful acoustic tour on Wednesday, 26th September, to win over the public of one of the most important venues in the world.
An unprecedented event as he is the first Spanish pop artist to perform on this legendary stage, just three weeks before starting his USA and Canada Acoustic Tour at the Carnegie Hall in New York.
Rosario Flores, Malú, Pastora Soler, Luis Fonsi and English cellist Lizzy May will accompany David as guest artists.
The “First International DB Fan Club Convention” will also be held to coincide with his appearance in the United Kingdom.
On 26 September, David Bisbal will present his acclaimed acoustic production “A night at the Royal Theatre” at the Royal Albert Hall, after performing more than 100 concerts during the last year in Spain, America and the main European cities. A historic event because no other Spanish pop artist has ever performed on the Albert Hall stage. A unique opportunity to discover his greatest hits at one of the venues reserved for leading international figures of all genres. For such a special occasion, Bisbal wanted to benefit from a stellar group of guest artists: Rosario Flores, Malú, Pastora Soler, Luis Fonsi and Lizzy May, leading the string octet that will play together with the artist’s usual band. At the same time, London will also host the “First International DB Fan Club Convention”, bringing together all the artist’s fan clubs from all over the world.
David Bisbal, who has just been the first coach for the Spanish version of La Voz [The Voice] on Telecinco, is firmly established as one of the top Latin Pop artists in the world. He is currently the second Spanish artist with the largest number of fans on Twitter and Facebook, with more than four million and one million followers respectively. His acoustic recording hit No. 1 in Spain, the USA and Latin America and went Triple Platinum Disc in Spain and Gold in the United States and several countries on the American continent. After his concert in London, David Bisbal will perform a total of 12 concerts in the main cities of the USA and Canada. The first will be on 16th October at the Carnegie Hall in New York, followed by performances in Boston, Washington, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Orlando, ending on 4th November at the James L. Knight in Miami, Florida.
