The 17-member FasTracks Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC), which advises the Regional Transportation District (RTD) on matters relating to RTD’s voter-approved FasTracks program, will hold its third mobile quarterly meeting of the year Wednesday, September 19, in Arvada. The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Arvada City Hall, 8101 Ralston Rd., Arvada.
The CAC takes its quarterly outreach meetings on the road to different locations around the region to make it easier for the public to offer input on FasTracks and receive updates on the program.
“RTD has a lot of positive stories to tell, but we are also interested in hearing from the local community,” said Debra Wilcox, who shares CAC co-chair duties with David Lewis.
The September 19 meeting will provide updates on the progress of the Gold Line (Denver Union Station to Arvada); Northwest Rail Line, Segment 1 (Denver Union Station to south Westminster); East Rail Line (Denver Union Station to Denver International Airport); as well as detail the Regional Transportation Plan amendment RTD is submitting to the Denver Regional Council of Governments which identifies transportation projects that can be funded through 2035.
Arvada City Hall is accessible by a number of RTD bus routes. For RTD trip planning, visit www.rtd-denver.com.
