In just a few days, the general public will wait no more as everyone will finally be able to enjoy one of the most anticipated albums of the past few months, “MI PROMESA”, a new musical production by PESADO, soon to hit the market.
August 21st is the day that fans of “The Group That Is Worth Its Weight” will be able to enjoy this album composed of 10 tunes, among them norteñas, cumbias, cantineras and waltz norteñas, a selection that will reaffirm the quality and versatility of a group that is an institution within the Regional Mexican music genre.
“Mi Promesa” (“My Promise”) is also the title of the promotional single currently on the radio, which has positioned itself among the top five in popularity charts in Mexico and the United States since its release.
In the meantime, for those who like to purchase music via digital format, PESADO is releasing exclusively via iTunes the track “La forma en que me miras” (“The Way You Look At Me”), a norteña rhythm track very much in line with the Regional Mexican group’s unique style, and which will be on sale and available for download immediately upon release.
“MI PROMESA” also marks the group’s 19th anniversary, which PESADO is celebrating by debuting at the Banamex Auditorium in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, where the band will go all out to commemorate the event with a double presentation on August 31 and September 1. For this great affair, Beto Zapata, Pepe Elizondo, Luis Mario Garza, Toño Pequeño and Julio Tamez are currently preparing a super show encompassing the hits amassed along almost two decades of career, and the band members have promised fans something they’ve never seen in their concerts before.
With this double show, PESADO kicks off its “Mi promesa 2012” tour, which will also be promoted in Monterrey, Mexico City, Los Angeles and Miami, among many other cities in Mexico and the United States.
