Lake Pueblo State Park’s Swim Beach Closes for the Season

The Labor Day weekend is your last chance for fun and sun at the Rock Canyon Swim Beach at Lake Pueblo State Park. The Rock Canyon Swim Beach will close for the season after Monday, Sept. 3. The beach is currently open Thursday through Monday, 11a.m. to 6 p.m. The area provides swimming, a sandy beach area and picnic facilities. There is no fee to enter the Rock Canyon Swim Beach, but a valid park pass is required on every vehicle that enters the park. There are no lifeguards on duty and swimming is at your own risk.

The swim beach will re-open for the 2013 season on May 24, 2013.
