Hispanic Coalition for Reform and Educational Options participation at the Telemundo Orlando’s eighth annual La Feria de la Familiawas a wonderful success, reaching out to thousands of Hispanic parents and their children in Central Florida.

The event attracted large crowds and had the participation of nearly 100 businesses, organizations, and community groups featuring services and products to Central Florida Hispanics. Telemundo Orlando also featured some of Hispanic television’s biggest stars such as Adamari Lopez, Rafael Amaya and many more.

“I am overwhelmed by the continued support La Feria de la Familia has received this year from the community. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our partners for another successful event,”  said Larry De La Rosa, General Manger of Telemundo Orlando. “We are proud to continue our tradition as the only free Hispanic event of its kind in all of Central Florida.”

Hispanic CREO partnered with Step Up for Students at the event to reach out to Hispanic families and to provide them with information on scholarships and educational options. Hispanic CREO had over 100 parents join the Parental Awareness Network (PAN), a coalition to engage, empower and inform Hispanic parents across the nation on the importance of graduation and to provide these parents with the awareness, tools and resources needed to help Hispanic students receive the quality education they deserve.

“It is also amazing to see thousands of Hispanics in a community come together one day to learn and spend quality time and fun with their families,” said Julio Fuentes, President and CEO of Hispanic CREO. “We thank Telemundo Orlando for another successful La Feria de la Familia and giving us the opportunity to network with thousands of Hispanic parents to inform them the possibilities in enriching their child’s education. As the largest minority group in the country, it is crucial for Hispanics to come together to unite and grow.”

Over the years, La Feria de la Familia established itself as a dynamic and powerful forum. Connecting businesses to the Hispanic community, featuring products and strengthening brands, La Feria is an interactive expo of exceptional quality, guaranteed to inform, empower and entertain.
