CSPD Seeks Help In Locating An Identity Theft Suspect

The Colorado Springs Police Departments Financial Crimes Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted person.

Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Susan D. Ullery {11/22/1985} for felony level charges of identity theft, attempt to influence a public official, forgery and theft.

Susan Ullery is a white female, 5’3”, 125 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes. She has 2, 1½ inch star tattoos on her forearm.

She is known to drive a rented white, Chevrolet sedan with Louisiana license plates.

Between June and August 2012, Susan Ullery is alleged to be responsible for taking over the identity of a victim, a citizen of  Castle Rock, Colorado. The victim’s vehicle was stolen in Castle Rock with the victim’s identity documents inside.

Susan Ullery used the identity documents to open a number of charge accounts with local retail stores using the victim’s identity. She then purchased several thousand dollars in goods. The exact total is yet to be determined.

Susan Ullery has also opened bank accounts with 5 local banks, 2 under the victim’s identity. She then made and deposited checks from the banks causing an artificially inflated balance. She then withdrew monies from each of the banks. Later the checks would bounce. She also made checks payable for goods to local retail businesses which also later bounced. The amount of that loss is yet to be determined.
