Colorado Springs Youth Symphony

Auditions for 2012-2013 Season September 15
The Colorado Springs Youth Symphony will hold auditions September 15 at the organization’s offices in the Irving Education Center, 1702 N. Murray. Musicians 18 years of age and younger are invited to audition for openings in the seven groups of the organization.
Current openings include all orchestral and band instruments except oboes, flutes, piccolos, alto and bari saxophones.

The Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association is one of the top youth symphony organizations in the nation—an organization that promotes music excellence and employs the top music educators and coaches in the area. Musicians in the Youth Symphony are provided technical instruction, performance opportunities, intensive camp, outreach, collaborative performances with other arts organizations and leadership training. The Youth Symphony continues to be the premiere comprehensive instrumental music association for young musicians in the state.
