CSP Trooper Honored for Lifesaving Actions

On March 10, 2012, Colorado State Patrol Trooper Scott Pucket was driving by a bank located at the intersection of 29th Street and Hwy 287 in Loveland, CO. Trooper Pucket observed a bush at the front of the bank building that had caught fire and was starting to reach the eaves of the bank.

Pucket and another concerned citizen got out of their vehicles to see if there was anything they could do to stop the fire. To their surprise, they observed a man that appeared to be pinned under a bicycle that was under the burning bush. They worked together to pull the man free and kept him from being seriously injured.

On Wednesday, July 25, 2012, the Loveland Police Department will be presenting awards to Trooper Scott Pucket and the citizen that assisted him for their lifesaving efforts. (Unfortunately, we do not have the name of the citizen at this time.)
