Standard & Poor’s Rating Services (S&P) has completed its annual review of the Colorado Springs Airport’s outstanding Revenue Bonds, and has affirmed its “A-” rating with a stable outlook, according to Gisela Shanahan, Assistant Director of Aviation. In its review, S&P cites several positive indicators including conservative fiscal management, a strong liquidity position, and a solid local economy stabilized by strong military and defense contractor sectors.
