I 25 Northbound Between Pikes Peak Int’l Raceway and Fountain (Milemarker 121-122)
(through August 2012)
24 Hours- MO-FR Single lane closed 24 hours from 5a MO-8p FR each week for bridge reconstruction on 5 bridges.
Lane will reopen for the weekends. 12 ft. width restriction in effect northbound I-25 only during closure. Delays
US 24 Eastbound/Westbound 2 miles West of Peyton (Milemarker 327.1) (through July 2012)
7:00 AM-5:00 PM MO Traffic is now on the detour route around the bridge construction. Occasional traffic stops
possible to allow trucks to enter and exit the work zone. Minor delays. A 12 ft width restriction is in effect and the
speed limit has been reduced.
US 24 Eastbound/Westbound at Simla (Milemarker 354-355) (through July 2012)
7:00 AM-5:00 PM MO There will be one lane alternating traffic with pilot car escort for paving operations. 10 minute
US 40 Eastbound/Westbound US 40/287 Through Kit Carson (Milemarker 443-445.6) (through
24 Hours- Only one lane open in each direction for roadway construction. One-lane alternating traffic on CO 59 at US
40/287 possible 24/7 for storm sewer and inlet installation. Delays possible. Speed limit reduced to 35 mph. 12 ft.

US 50 Eastbound/Westbound Between Rocky Ford and Manzanola (Milemarker
361.9-366.45) (through August 2012)
6:00 AM-Dark MO-TH and FR until 4:00 PM Only one lane open in each direction for culvert work, sediment
removal, and concrete work. A 12 ft. width restriction is in effect through the work zone.
CO 101 Northbound/Southbound South of Las Animas over the Purgatoire River and Dry
Gulch (Milemarker 2.5-8) (through November 2012)
24 Hours Traffic will be managed with a one-lane alternating traffic signal 24/7 for bridge structure replacement over
the Purgatoire river and at Dry Gulch. Additional traffic stops are possible MO-FR 6:30a-6:30p. 10 minute delays
possible during additional traffic stops.
CO 115 Eastbound/Westbound on NORAD Bridge Road over CO 115 (Milemarker 43)
(through August 2012)
24 Hours- NORAD Road Bridge over CO 115 will be closed 24/7 to through traffic for bridge deck repairs. The
diamond ramps connecting to O’Connell Blvd. and NORAD Rd. remain open. Northbound SH 115 can detour south
on SH 115 and make a legal U-turn at the Gate 1/Cheyenne Mountain State Park (CMSP) intersection or enter
the park, utilize the roundabout and traffic signal to turn north onto SH 115. Access to southbound SH 115 is
available by going north on SH 115, and turning around at the South Academy Boulevard Interchange.
